Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order releases today, some ten years after the last entry in the superhero action RPG series, and to celebrate, there's a launch trailer.

In addition, the official Nintendo Twitter account has announced that two free heroes will be added to the game's bulging hero roster in the form of an update on August 30 when Colossus and Cyclops from the X-Men will be available as playable characters.

Then, on September 30, the first of the planned DLC packs will be released – and first on the block are the Marvel Knights, as Marvel Knights: Curse of the Vampire will launch. This pack will also see the characters Blade, Moon Knight, Morbius and The Punisher added to the game for owners of the game's Expansion Pass.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is out today, exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
