NetEase released another Marvel Rivals update on Thursday morning. The update brings a couple of new cosmetics, including free ones that are available on Twitch. In addition, the game developer released several bug fixes and optimizations, improving the game. The update had no downtime, which makes sense considering its size.

The Season 4.5 roadmap shows that the game developer will release more content next week, including a new game mode. This week, the update prioritizes fixes while also adding new cosmetics.

New Marvel Rivals Update Added New Skins and Bug Fixes

The update came out at 9 AM UTC on Thursday and brought two new skins. This week, Thor will get a Lightning Fast bundle, while Squirrel Girl’s bundle is named Turbo Tailwind. Both of these cosmetics will be available in the store on Friday at 2 AM UTC. These are limited-time cosmetics and will leave the shop on November 14.

In addition to these paid items, NetEase released a new spray and emoji. These are new Twitch Drops and will be available until November 13. Players can unlock these by simply viewing Marvel Rivals streams that have Drops enabled.

The update also added the following optimizations and features:

  • Added a new voice-changing system that allows players to change their voices in the settings
  • Bots can now change costumes in Custom Games
  • Added Custom Game map selection that allows game hosts to set up map selection rules

Finally, NetEase fixed a couple of bugs with outfits. Namely, Mantis’ summer skin received a fix that will prevent it from losing its semi-transparent look, while Daredevil will no longer be able to detect this outfit from far beyond his usual range. Furthermore, the new Duelist will no longer cause performance issues with his Radar Sense.
