NetEase has done a fantastic job with Marvel Rivals so far. Despite being out for less than three months, the video game has gained a massive following and large playerbase. In this period, the game has received several major updates, and a new one is just around the corner! According to a latest leak, one of the upcoming Marvel Rivals updates will make cosmetic items much more affordable.

With the next Marvel Rivals update coming on February 21, the new feature might be release sooner than expected!

According to X0X leaker on X (formerly Twitter), NetEase will revamp in-game currencies. The leaker claims that Chrono Tokens will be able to swapped into Units, which will make the game so much better. More precisely, players will be able to do the swap after completing the Battle Pass.

“After finishing the Battle Pass, you will have sort of option to swap Chrono Tokens to Units,” the leaker wrote. Considering that Units are one the second most valuable currency in Marvel Rivals, this is certainly a step in the right direction. Furthermore, Chrono Tokens become rather useless after completing the Battle Pass, so this is something that will encourage players to keep playing even after unlocking all the rewards.

Currently, there’s no confirmed release date for this feature. However, since the next update is set for February 21, it’s possible that NetEase could include it then. If not, the next Marvel Rivals Battle Pass is expected later in the year, likely in April, and this exciting feature may launch alongside it.

Keep in mind that this feature hasn’t been confirmed by the game developer yet. However, considering that it comes from a reputable leaker, we expect it to arrive at some point this year.
