With Season 4 of Marvel Rivals quickly approaching, NetEase has exciting news to share. The game developer released patch notes for the upcoming update, revealing everything that will come with it. Besides Angela, the new hero, and the new Battle Pass, the new season will bring several quality-of-life improvements, including a new costume feature.
Since Marvel Rivals came out in December 2024, NetEase has released over 200 costumes in it. Now, it’s time to use more of them and show them on the battlefield!
Costume rotation is coming with Marvel Rivals Season 4
Every Marvel Rivals character has a couple of costumes that can be obtained from the in-game shop. While some heroes have many skins, all of them have at least one recolor and one unique skin. At the moment, it’s only possible to choose one specific skin for a hero, but that will change with the release of Season 4.
In the latest patch notes, NetEase revealed that the costume rotation is coming with the next season. In other words, players will be able to randomly rotate their owned costumes for every hero. This will certainly make the game more exciting and will put many more costumes in the rotation, not only the most popular ones.
What makes this feature even better is the ability to disable some costumes. For example, players who use Doctor Strange can disable his free skin if they don’t want it in the rotation. Once they do this, the system will pick among the other skins that are owned.
The upcoming season will bring many other improvements, from balance changes to the refined hero selection wheel. NetEase will also add placement matches in the future, which should make the ranked mode more fun.
