Next Marvel Rivals update brings a mind-blowing free skin

The next Marvel Rivals update is set to arrive on Friday, August 8. This will be a mid-season update (Season 3.5), which brings Blade, a new Duelist. NetEase will also use this opportunity to release balance changes, while new cosmetics will be available in the shop and through events. The first event will go live on day one, and it has an incredible free skin!

As the Marvel Rivals Season 3.5 roadmap reveals, the first event will bring three skins. Hela, Black Widow, and the Thing will all get new costumes and other cosmetics. The event pass will have both free and premium rewards, and all of them look fantastic!

The free Marvel Rivals skin will be available in a new event

On Friday, NetEase will release the Queen’s Codex event with Season 3.5. The event has a Battle Chest, which has 24 different rewards. Out of these, 14 are free, including the Symbiote skin for The Thing. The skin can be obtained by simply playing the game throughout the event and leveling up the pass. In addition to this, the Fantastic Four member will receive a free nameplate and emote.

The Thing will finally receive a unique skin that makes him look amazing, and the best part is that it will be free!

Black Widow’s Phoenix Widow skin will be available on the first page of the upcoming Marvel Rivals event, while Hela’s Queen in Black Costume is its final reward. Both of these require a premium pass upgrade, which costs 690 Lattice.

The next Marvel Rivals update will also bring numerous buffs and nerfs, shifting the meta in Season 3.5. Furthermore, NetEase will release many much-needed changes, including stricter bans for players who throw or quit games.
