Marvel Rivals Creator Teases More PvE Modes in the Future

The first PvE mode in Marvel Rivals is set to arrive on Thusday, October 23. The mode is called Marvel Zombies and will feature five playable characters, two bosses, and hordes of zombies. Danny Koo, the game’s executive producer, has revealed that the feedback has been positive so far, despite the mode not being live yet, and that NetEase will work on more such modes in the future.

Considering the rich lore of Marvel, the game developer could easily create new storyline modes. But for now, it’s time to enjoy Marvel Zombies and all of its amazing new features.

Marvel Rivals Will Add More PvE Modes

Danny Koo’s interview with Gosu Gamers hinted at NetEase’s future plans. Thanks to a positive feedback from the community, the game developer is interested in releasing more PvE modes in the future. “Even though this is the first one, we’ll explore, based on players’ feedback, what they like to see,” Koo said in the interview, emphasizing the importance of player feedback.

“We already have a lot of feedback, and we haven’t even launched yet,” Koo added. “Players want to see X-Men versus the Sentinels. What if Ultron took over everybody, fighting Ultron bots? It’s limitless.”

Koo explained that the development team will take a look at Marvel Zombies and bring something “bigger” and “better” in the future.

The senior producer also opened up the possibility of bringing the zombie mode in the future, if it turns out to be a success. However, he also pointed out that the PvE mode is not going to be only about zombies. Due to this, we expect big things from NetEase in the future, and there is no doubt that these modes will be a perfect addition to Marvel Rivals.
