Upcoming Marvel Rivals event will grant you an exclusive title

NetEase has released a couple of big Marvel Rivals events over the past few weeks, including anniversary and Christmas celebrations. With the year ending in just a few more days, the game developer has prepared another surprise. If you attend the upcoming event, you will unlock an exclusive title. The best thing is that unlocking the title takes only a minute.

At the moment, Marvel Rivals has a winter event, which brings a new game mode and limited-time cosmetics. The developer will release another event at the same time, as you will be able to celebrate the new year within the game.

How to watch the New Year’s Eve event in Marvel Rivals?

New York City Mayor Wilson Fisk will host the New Year’s Eve celebration in Marvel Rivals, and by joining, you’ll get an exclusive reward. You will be able to attend the ball drop ceremony between December 31, 2025, 8 PM ET, and January 1, 2026, 1 AM ET.

NetEase will disable Loki’s ultimate ability for one hour before and after the ball drop, as this could cause performance issues. If you play with this Strategist, keep this in mind, or simply select another character.

Even if you can’t log into the game during the five-hour window, you can still unlock the “New Year 2026” title. To obtain it, visit the Times Square map between 1200 AM ET on January 1, 2026, and 12 AM ET on January 3, 2026.

In the meantime, don’t forget to unlock all the free Units from the Christmas event. The current event will end on Saturday, and you can earn up to 450 Units from it within just a few minutes.
