Since its release, Marvel Rivals devs have continued to evolve the game, releasing bug updates, revising hero balance, and introducing new content to maintain a dynamic meta. Season 1’s Eternal Night Falls introduced the Fantastic Four, as well as new maps and modes, while patches like the February 21 update included Human Torch and The Thing, along with changes to counter the popular triple-support meta.
Community feedback has spurred these adjustments, with developers resolving performance issues and fine-tuning hero team-ups to make matches competitive. Now, anticipation is rising for a patch on March 6, 2025, which shook things up once more. Here are the full patch notes for today’s Marvel Rivals update.

Patch notes for PC and consoles
The latest Marvel Rivals update brought several console-specific bug fixes, as well as a fix for a PC. NetEase fixed an issue where some graphics cards couldn’t enable Intel XeSS, while controller players will no longer have issues mapping the L3 button. Furthermore, PlayStation players can now properly unlock Wolverine’s Rage Uncaged trophy.
New Marvel Rivals event
In addition to this, patch notes also reveal a new Marvel Rivals event, set to begin on Friday. The event will bring many free rewards, including a Black Widow skin. Players will also be able to earn 320 Units while actively participating in the event.
Interestingly, Clone Rumble, the most anticipated game mode, will only be available for three days at a time. Considering that the community hasn’t received this news well, NetEase may decide to turn it into a permanent mode, at least during the event.
