Marvel Rivals leaks reveal iconic X-Men duo are coming soon

As Marvel Rivals prepares to launch Season 2.5, excitement is building for what NetEase has in store for their hero shooter. The new season promises Ultron as a new Strategist, a new map, and an experimental autobattler mode, but fans are already looking ahead, driven by rumors about what to expect in Season 3 and beyond.

With NetEase introducing shorter two-month seasons beginning next season and a new hero each month, curiosity over the forthcoming arrivals has reached peak enthusiasm. Some of the major leaks revolve around X-Men icons Rogue and Gambit, whose speculated arrival has players excited.

Leaked voice clips shared by dataminers on social media show voice interactions of the existing roster with the two heroes that have fans speculating about their positions, which may be a Duelist and Strategist partnership.

Marvel Rivals leaker X0X_Leak has posted two clips with voice interactions of existing characters in the game talking with Rogue and Gambit separately in the game. The interactions reveal that these heroes are soon going to be actual in-game characters in future seasons, and other heroes will be talking to them in the beginning or during a match.

Starting with Gambit, the interaction clip begins with Storm saying, “Those were simpler times, Remi. Sometimes I wish we could go back”, and “You would use Rogue’s engagement ring to run from a battle. That’s low, even for you.” The next interaction is between Peni Parker and Gambit, where Peni says, “No, no, no, no, no Spider is a friend, I swear. Please don’t blow us up”, and “Yep, we hear you Gambit, loud and clear.”

The third interaction takes place with Hawkeye, who questions Gambit, “It’s gonna be an epic one. You sure you want to go in with just a deck of cards?”, and “Touche.” Up next is Black Widow saying, “Not really. Retrieving classified Intel is not the same as pulling jewel heists”, and “I suppose you’re right. So, how about we work together to steal a win?”

However, the interaction between Rocket and Gambit is hilarious where Rocket says, “A thief, huh? Ever stolen an Infinity Stone from an elder of the universe?” and, “Let’s talk more when this battle’s over. I might have the perfect job for ya.”

Coming to Rogue, she starts her interaction where Peni Parker says, “Arigatou, Rogue! I like to think that Spider is equal parts function and fashion”, and “If we’ve got to save the timestream, we might as well look good doing it, right?” Then, we hear Hawkeye saying, “Sorry, all my skills were developed the old-fashioned way, hard work and training”, and “Yeah, given plenty of those over my years. Trying to keep up with everyone. Phew”

After Clint, Black Widow says to Rogue, “That ring of yours, the gem looks familiar.” Then, Rocket Raccoon drops in and says, “Is it true you can absorb people’s memories?”, and “Better refrain from petting me then. I may be cute, but my past is pretty ugly.” Finally, Storm talks to her fellow X-Men member, “I am happy that you and Remi have chosen to fully embrace your love. As do I. But even so, a future with him will be full of challenges.”
