Marvel Rivals Season 4 release date is now officially confirmed for September 12th. NetEase have provided an overview of what’s coming, and, just like every other fan, all we can say about Angela is “holy moly” as just from her muscular goddess design alone she’s become an instant fan-favorite. However, while Angela as a new playable hero is enough on her own to get players coming back to the hero shooter, there will also be a new map launching slightly after the Season 4 update on September 25th. In addition, the developer has confirmed that they are finally bringing a feature many Marvel Rivals players have asked NetEase to add.
Marvel Rivals Season 4 finally adds feature players have asked for
On September 3rd, NetEase revealed Marvel Rivals Season 4, providing an overview of what’s to come. While most of the attention has been fixated on Angela and her rippling physique, as well as the new Heart of Heaven map and Arcade Mode changes such as the permanent returns of Clone Rumble and Giant Size-Brain Blast, there was another feature confirmed that deserves applause.
In the video, creative director, Guangguang, confirmed that Season 4 will finally let players favorite heroes. Per the director, NetEase are “adding a favorites bar,” which will allow you to “pin your most-played heroes and quickly find them during hero select”.
You can see the new feature in action at the 5-minute mark of the Dev Vision. It comes because of the constantly growing hero roster, and, although it may seem small, it is a feature players have asked for as it will allows fans to tidy up the user interface as there are over 40 characters in the game.
Angela has already become an instant favorite because of her design, but it remains to be seen how good she is on the battlefield. She will be accompanied by the addition of DareDevil at the midway point of Season 4, and they both look fantastic. Marvel Rivals is by no means perfect as there are faults to be found, but its character designs are near flawless, and after wowing fans with Emma Frost, NetEase have done it again with Angela and DareDevil.
In other Marvel Rivals news, Quick Play mode is getting a new twist and fans are hoping Season 4 will buff arguably the weakest hero in the game.
