Season 2 of Marvel Rivals is set to come out in less than two weeks! NetEase has prepared lots of new content to release, from balance changes to a new map. However, most players are interested in a new hero, which should come out on the first day of the season. While nothing has been confirmed yet, there is a chance that Emma Frost will join the impressive roster of Marvel Rivals heroes.
The game developer has already begun working on this character, as she was datamined in late 2024. Without further ado, let’s see if the popular mutant will come to the game.
Will Emma Frost come with Marvel Rivals Season 2?
Emma Frost is one of the many new characters that NetEase has been working on. These characters were datamined from the game files, which indicates that they will come out at some point. However, this also means that we don’t know their release date.
NetEase has certainly put in work, adding Emma Frost’s abilities to the game. Some of her abilities include Psychic Blast, Mind Control, and Diamond Form. Considering that the hero is nearly invincible while using the diamond form, this would make her a perfect Vanguard in Marvel Rivals. Furthermore, she would work similarly to Cloak & Dagger, switching between different forms on the fly.
Currently, there’s no official confirmation on whether Emma Frost will be part of Marvel Rivals Season 2 at launch. Other potential candidates, such as Blade and Ultron, also have a strong chance of being released on the first day of the new season. Due to this, we will have to wait a while longer for the official confirmation.
It’s important to note that NetEase promised a new hero every month and a half. Due to this, even if Emma doesn’t come out right away, she could arrive in late May.
