Marvel Rivals could soon get cheaper skins and personalized discounts

Marvel Rivals is a free-to-play game that is enjoyed by millions of players on a daily basis. While the game costs nothing to play, its cosmetic items are not exactly cheap. Some of the most expensive skins in the game cost more than $20, but that might change very soon. According to a recent leak, NetEase is developing a feature that would offer personalized discounts for players.

RivalsInfo, a reputable leaker, claims that the Marvel Rivals developer is working on a black market feature. This feature, when released, could make cosmetics cheaper by offering personalized discounts in the shop. However, the release date of it is currently unknown.

Black market could come to Marvel Rivals soon

The next major update will bring Season 5.5 in Marvel Rivals and is scheduled to come out in mid-December. While it hasn’t been confirmed yet, there is a decent chance that NetEase could release the black market feature with it.

For now, the details about this feature are scarce. However, it will likely be similar to Maximilien’s Vault in Overwatch 2. This feature created personalized offers for every player, giving them skin discounts up to 60%.

Maximilien’s Vault offers players personalized discounts according to their most-played heroes. The feature would probably work the same way in Marvel Rivals, which would allow players to purchase skins for their favorite heroes without paying the full price.

Right now, the hero shooter has no discounts. However, NetEase releases numerous skins for free every season, giving everyone a chance to obtain costumes without spending a cent. Still, the upcoming feature would make the game much better and would almost certainly increase sales. Season 5.5 is set to come out on December 12, and we hope that NetEase will bring the black market with it.
