Marvel Rivals Season 4 will bring many buffs and nerfs. NetEase has revealed some of the balance changes that are coming, as nearly 20 heroes will be affected by them. The upcoming season, which is scheduled to start on September 12, will change the meta once again.
In this article, we’ll take a look at all the balance changes coming with the next season. The Marvel Rivals developer will soon reveal even more details about them, so we will get a clearer picture.
Buffs and nerfs coming in Marvel Rivals Season 4
The upcoming Marvel Rivals season will bring Angela as a new hero. Angela will be a new Vanguard, which is refreshing considering the last two heroes were Duelists. She will have a team-up with Thor, who will receive a buff and a new ability. Besides the god of thunder, eight other heroes will receive a buff, while seven will be nerfed.
Here is the summary of all buffs and nerfs coming with Season 4:
Buffs | Nerfs |
---|---|
Scarlet Witch | Luna Snow |
Peni Parker | Emma Frost |
Invisible Woman | Black Panther |
Thor | Captain America |
Blade | Loki |
Dr. Strange | Squirrel Girl |
Moon Knight | Psylocke |
Ultron | |
Jeff the Land Shark |
It’s important to note that these balance changes only include changes to raw stats. For example, Psylocke may have received a damage nerf for her abilities, but she may get a seasonal bonus that buffs her damage by 10% and balances things out. Due to this, we will have to wait for NetEase to release detailed patch notes to see which of these heroes have been affected the most.
Besides these buffs and nerfs, the upcoming Marvel Rivals season will bring several new team-up abilities. As previously mentioned, Thor and Angela will be team-up partners, while Black Panther will benefit from Bruce Banner’s Gamma Shield. Finally, Magik will join the Arcane Order synergy and receive a new ability for crowd control.
