No doubt in a move to counter yesterday’s announcement that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess has been pushed back until some point in 2006, Nintendo has announced the release of Mario Smash Football as well as a console and game bundle. Released on November 18th will be the game and also a special edition pearl white GameCube Console bundled with a copy of Mario Smash Football.
Mario Smash Football is a five-a-side football game with the added twist of weapons and power-ups, as Mario sports titles tend to include. Being a massive Pro Evo fan I have my doubts over Mario Smash Soccer, but I’ll reserve judgement until the game’s release in November.
