Nintendo will kick off an open beta for the Android version of Mario Kart Tour late next month.

The teaser will take to the track on May 22 and remains open until June 4, although it'll only be available in the US and Japan. If you fancy a shot, then submit your application on the Mario Kart Tour website here by May 7.

Mario Kart Tour still doesn't have a firm release date yet, but Nintendo said during an earnings call this week that it's still on track to launch during the company's 2019 fiscal year.

The game is part of the Big N's collaboration with DeNA, who previously worked with the console maker on Super Mario Run and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. Ninty is also planning on releasing a new Dr. Mario title for mobiles this year.
