WiFi DS gaming is getting ever nearer, with the release of Mario Kart DS on November 25th being the first time European gamers will be able to play a DS game online. Mario Kart DS features Wireless DS Single-Card Download Play for up to eight players and four-player online action via a wireless access point or hotspot. Hotspots will be popping up all over the country in stores and Nintendo enabled public WiFi hotspots.

The game will allow you to challenge friends thanks to a Friend Roster. All you need is your mates’ Friend Code and they will be added to your Friend Roster for easy access to play them. Mario Kart DS will also include a mode to play against people of a similar skill level to your own, making the game more enjoyable to people of all ages and abilities.

Mario Kart DS is released on November 25th in the UK as is the Nintendo WiFi USB Connector. This will enable anyone with a Broadband connection to get online with a DS. Both the game and WiFi adapter are expected to retail at around £30.
