Original report: A special edition Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundle will launch in the UK on May 30, Nintendo has announced.
The Mario Kart 8 Premium Pack – Special Edition includes a black Wii U Premium console with 32GB of storage, black Wii U GamePad controller, Sensor Bar, and a Mario Kart 8 game disc.
Furthermore, Nintendo’s online store is offering an even more bumper console bundle in Mario or Luigi variants. In addition to the regular bundle you’ll also get a Mario hat, Mario Wii Remote Plus, Mario Wii U Wheel, Mario Wii U Gamepad protector and a Mario Kart 8 game guide.
Opt for the Luigi bundle and the Mario items change into green Luigi items.
The bundle will cost £249.99, with Nintendo’s special Mario and Luigi bundles coming in at £299.99.
In addition, two new Wii Remote Plus designs will be released to support the May 30 launch. Fans will be able to pick up a Princess Peach remote in pink and green Yoshi remote.
