Nintendo’s iconic Mario and Luigi pairing have been voted the third most one-sided fictional double act in a survey conducted by YouGov.
The plumbing brothers saw 55 per cent of those familiar with the pairing prefer Mario, with only 11 per cent choosing Luigi.
There were, however, two pairings with an even heavier bias. Batman and Robin saw 64 per cent choose Batman, and only 13 per cent opt for Robin, but it is Scooby Doo and Shaggy with the largest mismatch. A whopping 67 per cent of those familiar with the pairing preferred Scooby, with just 16 per cent backing Shaggy.
