The three-part Big Bang update for side-scrolling MMO MapleStory has finally completed with the addition of the “Birth of the Mechanic” content.

The first Big Bang update began in early August and helped implement a simpler interface, re-balance skills, developer an easier XP curve, and added additional worlds, as well as the new Wild Hunter and Battle Mage classes. With the third update, users can now take the role of the Mechanic character class.

Mechanics carry the same weaponry as standard Pirates within the MMO, however they can also ride ME-07 mechs and activate robot minions to defeat enemies. Users playing this class will have both attacking and healing abilities, as well as the ability to navigate more efficiently through in-game maps.

MapleStory is a free-to-play 2D title originally developed in South Korea. The MMO recently came to Facebook under the title MapleStory Adventures.
