The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan has received its second developer diary today courtesy of developer Supermassive Games, offering another behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming horror title.

The first part of the series looked at the choppy oceans and stormy weather, which are put to good use to bring the game's ghost ship setting to life. This latest video looks at how the studio has gone about shifting the tone over the course of the game.

Man of Medan is due for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One this summer. Much like Until Dawn, Supermassive's acclaimed teen-horror game for PS4, Man of Meda places a heavy emphasis on choice, as your decisions will determine the fate of its five characters as the night unfolds.

Interestingly, Supermassive trademarked something called House of Ashes not too long ago, possibly hinting at a second chapter in The Dark Pictures Anthology.
