This morning saw the release of Mad Tracks, a 3D racing game from Load Inc. The game has been around for a while on PC and now makes its debut on consoles with this Xbox Live Arcade release.
Mad Tracks features 15 challenges consisting of nine mini-games and six races, with players able to get behind the wheel of 12 sleek compact cars. Cars can also be boosted through 12 different power-ups such as rockets, freezer, oil drop and EMP.
In addition to the game’s solo experience, Mad Tracks features full support for Xbox Live where up to four players can compete for glory. The game also supports four-player local play via split-screen.
Fans of the game should also look out for additional content coming soon. Bravo and Encore downloadable content packs will each be available for 350 Microsoft Points, offering 15 additional races and mini-games.
As ever you can try the game before you buy and the full game includes 12 Achievements and 200 Gamerscore Points. Load Inc. is also throwing in two free gamer pictures.
