Majesco Entertainment has announced the Q1 2008 release of Blast Works: Build, Fuse and Destroy for Wii. The game is a side-scrolling shooter that gives players the ability to craft the game to their liking: build levels, ships and enemy ships.

The game will feature more than 15 different land, air and sea missions, with the goal being to destroy enemy ships, absorbing their fragments to become a massive craft. The larger the player’s ship, the easier it will be to defend against the onslaught of enemies.

Custom ships can be created using the in-game editor and can be tested out on custom created levels. The game also features two-player co-op, with players working together to blast enemies and grow their ships.

Blast Works: Build, Fuse and Destroy is in development at Budcat Creations and is scheduled for release on Wii in Q1 2008.
