Majesco has announced that they have secured the rights to the Aeon Flux TV show. They will create a game based on the cult MTV show for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox and will release the game late in 2005 to coincide with the release of the new movie.

“We are excited to be partnering with MTV and Terminal Reality on such an encompassing project as Aeon Flux,” said Jesse Sutton president of Majesco. “By including the voice talent and likeness of Charlize Theron, we hope to provide consumers with a product that seamlessly fits within the world of Aeon Flux yet offers an interactive component that complements its entertainment counterparts.”

The game is in development by Terminal Reality, the team behind the BloodRayne series, and we believe it is based on movie which is based on the animated TV series. Expect to here more about the game at E3 in May.
