While never handed a firm release date – Sony attached a vague ‘Fall 2009’ date to the game at E3 – many US video game retailers had listed MAG for a November release. Kotaku has now noticed that the likes of GameStop and GameFly are now saying the multiplayer shooter will be released in January 2010.
Could MAG be the latest high profile PS3 release not to make it to stores in 2009, joining God of War 3 and Heavy Rain?
A Sony Computer Entertainment spokesperson told Kotaku: “We haven’t made any announcements in regards to the launch date, the retailers are just speculating.”
