Maelstrom was released a few weeks back now and certainly had its pleasing moments. Codemasters has now decided the time is right to unleash a multiplayer demo, offering gamers the chance to try out two new multiplayer maps.

The first is a two-player map called Top of the Hill. This allows players to command either the Remnants or the Hai-Genti in a race to destroy the opposing base. The second map, Lair of the Devil, is suitable for four players and once again gives players the chance to compete as the Remnants or the Hai-Genti.

Both maps are also playable in single-player, so you’re able to get in some practice before you go online.

You’ll find the multiplayer demo, along with the previous single-player demo over on Codemasters.com.
