It has been revealed that Lucasarts will support all the new consoles as well as handheld platforms. In an interview by Boomtown, Jim Ward, company president confirmed that Lucasarts “will be on all platforms.“
In the interview he said:
“we celebrate all new platforms, we will support all new platforms, and we will be on all platforms. When you watch a game, we will do it on all of them as best as we can.“
Ward also confirmed that Lucasarts will be supporting handheld consoles, with games on the DS and PSP in development.
“Battlefront 2, that’s going to be on the PSP,” said Ward. “We have a number of other titles in development that we haven’t announced on PSP and DS.“
We look forward to seeing the Star Wars universe on next generation consoles.
