Indie developer Asteroid Base has announced that its well-received co-op action game, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on October 3. The game will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for £11.99.
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is a 1-4-player action shooter set aboard a giant neon spaceship, where players have to work together to save a range of animals, while switching between manning the spacecrafts controls and maintaining defences against alien robots. Those who play the game solo will be assisted by AI in the form of a space dog or cat to help in their efforts to protect the ship.
Players can join forces locally or online, and fight their way through four campaigns. Each of these campaigns comprises four levels and a boss fight. The goal is to find and rescue the animals to unlock a heart-shaped portal to the next level. The game is a pretty frantic affair, and can be quite a bit of fun especially with a group of friends or family.
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is out on October 3 for Nintendo Switch. It was previously released on PS4 and Xbox One.
