The Lord of the Rings: War in the North, an action RPG developed by Snowblind Studios and published by Warner Brothers, will launch in the UK this November.

The game will take players to the Northern lands of Middle-earth, an area yet to be explored by the films. Intertwining the characters and storyline of the novel and films, War in the North takes place in parallel with the well-known Ring Bearer's quest, as the battle for Middle-earth's survival rages.

With a three player co-op system, players can look to join a fellowship of Human, Elf and Dwarf, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.

November, eh? The same month as Skyrim, Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Uncharted 3, Need for Speed: The Run and that Modern Warefare 3 game? Interesting move, Warner.
