This will be the second demo of the game that has appeared on Microsoft’s digital store, the first coming back during E3, which offered an early peak at the game’s single-player mode. According to Capcom president Hiroshi Tobisawa, “Well in excess of 500,000 people have downloaded Lost Planet’s single-player demo.“
The demo will offer four modes of play (Elimination, Team Elimination, Post Grab and Fugitive) and will feature support for 16-player matches taking place on the Pirate Fortress map.
The wait for the game’s full release won’t be long after the demo, with Capcom recently announcing that it will be available in standard and Collector’s Edition forms on January 12.
