Lords of the Fallen will run at 900p on Xbox One and 1080p on PlayStation 4, creative director Tomasz Gop has confirmed to VideoGamer.com.

Gop discussed the differences between the two versions in a new gameplay walkthrough, explaining that the two games were “pretty much similar,” but “probably the resolution [on Xbox One] is like 900p instead of 1080p on PlayStation 4. But apart from that there’s nothing different I would say.”

Earlier this year, Gop revealed that developer City Interactive had been striving to achieve 1080p on both consoles, but the resolution was proving “slightly tougher” to hit on Xbox One.

And with the game having since been certified for launch in the US, don’t expect to see a resolution bump between now and release.

“It’s really, really close [to completion],” Gop told us. “Pretty much the only thing that we’re doing is last minute fixes, but we’ve already been certified. We’re already past the US certification for PlayStation.”

Lords of the Fallen launches on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on October 31.
