Deck 13’s upcoming sci-fi action RPG will be called ‘The Surge’, Focus Home Interactive has revealed.
The game promises to deliver a “visceral hardcore RPG with innovative combat mechanics”, with the first details set to be revealed at Gamescom early next month.
So far, all we’ve seen of it is a teaser image showing a futuristic soldier wielding what appears to be a chainsaw gun. I reckon it looks a bit like Matt Damon flick Elysium.
The Surge launches on PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2017, but expect to hear much more info in a couple of weeks.
