Psychological-survival-adventure hit Lone Survivor will be released for PS3 and PS Vita in July, Superflat Games’ Jasper Byrne has announced.

Curve Studios is handling the port.

Released back in March 2012, Lone Survivor features a nameless, masked protagonist, holed up in a city of monsters. It’s up to the player how they go about trying to survive. Choose to go stealthily without being seen, or shoot and kill everything which moves. Will you sleep and eat to stay alive or simply keep running on empty thanks to drugs?

“It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to release one of my games on a console, especially of the Sony variety (as the PlayStation family is still my favourite!) and I have the utmost confidence in Curve, who are handling the conversion, to produce the ultimate version of the game. Their excellent track record speaks for itself!” wrote Byrne.

And to make the PSN release even more worthwhile Byrne has been working on additional content which will initially launch exclusively on PS3 and Vita. Some of the extras include 19 new items, new dialogue with all NPCs, two extensive new side quests and a brand new Yellow ending, featuring an exclusive piece of music.

You’ll also get the usual Trophy support, plus Cross-Buy and Cross-Save.
