An HD remake of the original Fable is heading to Xbox 360, judging by a teaser trailer released by Lionhead this morning.
The teaser features tweets sent to the studio requesting that it remakes the original game, before closing with a shot of the game’s main antagonist Jack of Blades.
The glimpse at Jack suggests the remake could be made using all new assets, rather than simply being an uprezzed version of the 2004 original.
Fable launched on the original Xbox back in September 2004, with an extended version of the game – Fable: The Lost Chapters – releasing a year later.
The tease comes one week before Microsoft takes to the stage to deliver its E3 conference. Expect to see more next Monday.
