The free-to-play beta of Lineage II has now opened to users. Players will be able to register to Lineage II EU which offers localised versions of the MMO in English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Polish, Spanish and Turkish.
The game’s upcoming expansion, Goddess of Destruction, is the largest update ever introduced to the game, and includes new graphics, faster levelling, character advancement, eight new classes, alongside new weapons and armour.
Lineage II is the prequel to the original Lineage MMO. It was released to North America in 2004.
