Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII has been delayed until February 2014, Square Enix has confirmed.
The game had previously been due to release this autumn. Reasons for its delay have not been revealed.
Lightning Returns will launch in North America first on February 11, 2014, followed by a European release three days later on February 14, 2014. The game has yet to be dated for other territories.
The third game in the FFXIII series follows Lightning after the events of FFXIII-2, and introduces a new “action-oriented” battle system.
