Deck Nine Games confirmed that Life is Strange: Before the Storm, the prequel to 2015’s Life is Strange, will take players ‘six to nine hours.’Â
Speaking to Xbox Achievements, a Square Enix rep said that each of the three episodes will be approximately two to three hours.
The game also uses a new engine called StoryForge that is said to make the animations a bit smoother, and characters models are more detailed, too.
Life is Strange: Before the Storm begins with episode one of three on August 31, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
