Dontnod Entertainment is ‘almost done’ with Life Is Strange 2’s fifth and final episode, as announced through a tweet posted by the game’s co-director (via Hardcore Gamer).
Life is Strange 2 is a spiritual successor to the first game, and tells the story of brothers Sean and Daniel Diaz who suddenly come to terms with the supernatural and must flee their home after a tragedy rocks their quiet life in the suburbs. Launched for PC and console in September 2018, the following episodes have stretched over the course of this year as Dontnod develop and release them in stages.
I'm leaving tomorrow for a long holiday.
EP5 is almost done and the team is hard at work on polish and bugfix.
I'm extremely proud of this episode, and our amazing team! Can't wait for you all to discover how the wolf brothers journey ends (and how it ends for each of you ^^)— Michel Koch (@DONTNOD_Michel) October 26, 2019
The story of the Diaz brothers will conclude in December, but co-director Michel Koch revealed that the threads of the final episode are almost all tied up. He’s off on his holidays, but before he left, he gave fans an update on the game. ‘EP5 is almost done and the team is hard at work on polish and bugfix,’ he said. ‘I'm extremely proud of this episode, and our amazing team! Can't wait for you all to discover how the wolf brothers journey ends (and how it ends for each of you ^^).’
