Lego The Incredibles is coming to PlayStation 4, PC, Switch, and Xbox One this summer (deep breath), Disney, Pixar, The Lego Group, TT Games, and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have announced (and relax).

This probably won’t come as a surprise to anyone, considering the game has been leaked on a number of occasions this year already. Most recently, the title appeared on the packaging for a new set of Incredibles figures in the Lego Junior range.

Lego The Incredibles sees you strapping on your superhero cape and reliving action-packed sequences from both The Incredibles and The Incredibles 2, with players encouraged to work together as a team to utilise each Parr family member’s unique attributes.

In addition to tackling story missions to help bring to justice an array of troublesome villains, Lego The Incredibles also features a sprawling hub world linking you to locations such as Municiberg and Nomanisan Island. As well as the single-player mode, you can also bring along a mate for some two-player cooperative fun and form your own villain-vanquishing teams.

‘The Incredibles franchise, full of super-powered characters, adventures and teamwork, combined with all of the humour, puzzle-solving elements and unexpected surprises of LEGO®games makes for the perfect combination for players,’ said TT Games’ Managing Director, Tom Stone. ‘With LEGO® The Incredibles, fans can experience the non-stop action from both movies while fighting crime together as a super hero family.’

Lego The Incredibles will be released in the UK on July 13, putting it out day and date with the highly anticipated Pixar animated sequel, The Incredibles 2.Â
