In a press release LucasArts has quietly announced that its upcoming sequel, Lego Star Wars II, is to be released on Xbox 360. This is in addition to the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, PC, PSP, DS, and Game Boy Advance versions which were announced earlier this year. We can expect all versions of the game on September 12 in the US, with a European release likely to arrive around the same time.
The release of the game will be tied in with the DVD release of the original Star Wars trilogy, which sees the films being released in their original form for the first time. Expect to see plenty more of Lego Star Wars II at E3.
