Lego 2K Drive Release Date, Editions, Trailer and more

Lego 2K Drive was revealed recently, after a couple of leaks and hints a few days before it was initially announced. At first glance Lego 2K Drive may look like a Kart racer that we have grown accustomed to with Mario Kart and Crash Team Racing, yet Lego 2K Drive appears to be way more than that. 

From the reveal trailer it looks to take the best elements from some great racers over the years like Mario Kart, Burnout, Forza Horizon and then apply some of the magic and charm of Lego Games to come with something that looks very fresh.

In the reveal, we not only learnt more about what the game is but also when we can expect it and what editions of the game there will be.

Lego 2K Drive Release Date 

2K are referring to Lego 2K Drive as a driving adventure game and we can expect to be playing this ourselves very soon. Lego 2K Drive is currently set to release on May 19th 2023. 

So we won’t have to wait long at all until we can be building our own cars and leaving pals in the dust. 

Lego 2K Drive Editions and Price

There will be three editions of Lego 2k Drive with a base edition, a mid-tier and a premium version. Here is how much each edition of the game will cost and what is included: 

• The Standard Edition will be available for $59.99/£49.99/€59.99 in both physical and digital formats.
• The Awesome Edition will be available for $99.99/£84.99/€99.99 and includes a new vehicle, vehicle flair, and an in-game LEGO minifigure. Players will also receive the Year 1 Drive Pass, which will introduce an all-new biome, in addition to four individual post-launch seasons of Drive Pass content, each with new vehicles and themes.
• The Awesome Rivals Edition will be available for $119.99/£99.99/€119.99 and includes multiple new vehicles, a vehicle flair, and in-game LEGO minifigures. Players will also receive the Year 1 Drive Pass, which will introduce an all-new biome, in addition to four individual post-launch seasons of Drive Pass content, each with new vehicles and themes.
