Two new themed Nintendo 3DS XL consoles inspired by The Legend of Zelda series and Mario’s Brother Luigi will be released across Europe in November, Nintendo has announced.
November 1 sees the release of the Luigi Special Edition Nintendo 3DS XL, available exclusively at the Nintendo online store. The base layer of the console is white, with Luigi’s silhouette covering the shell in two shades of green.
Arriving alongside the November 22 release of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds Limited Edition Nintendo 3DS XL console. Available for £199 from Amazon.
The top side of the shell and the inside of the console features the iconic gold colour, and the bottom shell all black with a Triforce logo emblazoned across each side. When the console is opened the double Triforce logo of the game is formed. The special edition console also includes a download code for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds from the eShop.
Furthermore, Nintendo has announced that the packaged version of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds features a reversible front cover displaying the nostalgic image of the cover in classic gold, or in full colour.
