Red 5 Studio, the developer of online shooter FireFall has fallen into legal trouble after Korean MMO developer Webzen filed a lawsuit against it stating the developer breached their contract.

The lawsuit is against Red 5’s Korean office, according to gamesindustry.biz, and is based on claims of delays and breaches of contract over the game’s five-year development.

Red 5 originally filed for arbitration last month after claiming new management under Webzen failed to market FireFall properly, despite the publisher’s investment of $25 million.

The game is set to release later this year as a free-to-play team-based shooter.
