Online multiplayer title League of Legends has officially reached over 15 million registered users, gaining an average of 1.4 million players on a daily basis, according to developer Riot Games.
According to the firm, roughly 10 multiplayer games of League of Legend are played every second.
This is the first time the company has shared its player statistics since launching the title in 2009.
Riot Games has plans to expand into Southeast Asia and China this year.
Recently the former lead gameplay designer of Mass Effect, Christina Norman, joined Riot Games as a lead designer on League of Legends.
