Riot Games has announced the integration of ESL’s Go4LoL Cups Series (currently the largest one day online cup in Gaming) into its hugely popular free-to-play moba League of Legends.

“eSports is the most important aspect of the success and rapid growth of League of Legends. Thus we are very happy about this cooperation with ESL, which – with its global reach and millions of members – is one of our strongest partners. We will further expand our cooperation and develop eSports even more,” said Dustin Beck, VP eSports at Riot Games.

This new interface allows the 100,000,000 players worldwide, access to a specially designed cup management.

The League of Legends client and ESL portal simultaneously generate code for Go4LoL matches, which will forward the player right into the lobby of his next game! Once the match finishes, the results will be automatically incorporated in ESL rankings. This allows easy competition access, and automates results and progression.
