Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski aka Dude Huge aka Cliffy B’s latest game Lawbreakers has broken cover, launching with a trailer that demands to know whether you’re skilled AF. Probably not, Cliffy, but I have a good heart. The trailer, with its edgy music, super-fast pacing and intense shooting, is not something for those with a low response rate. But it looks like it could be fun either way.
A call back to the first-person shooters of old, Lawbreakers has more than a whiff of Unreal Tournament about it. It’s an arena shooter with low and even zero gravity areas, and a grappling hook. Requiring fast reflexes and the ability to remain calm with all the madness occurring around you, Lawbreakers takes a inspiration from older arena shooters and combines it with a movement style which is similar to Titanfall 2.
Lawbreakers is out now on PS4 and PC.
