Showing no signs of slowing down, Epic Games has pushed out another update to their popular shooter Fortnite, this time adding Launch Pads to the game’s Battle Royale mode.
The 1.9 update is headlined by the addition of Launch Pads which can be found as a deployable trap object in boxes and crates in the world. Once deployed, any player can use it and it soars you high into the air, allowing you deploy your glider to get a literal jump on your opponents from above. Here’s a video to demonstrate:
The update also brings with it four brand new shotguns and some quality of life improvements. A full list of changes can be found on the Fortnite website.
