Dark Souls 3 PC Update App Version 1.04.1 / Reg Version 1.06.1 has been withdrawn after it was found to cause freezing in the game, developer From Software has revealed.
“The patch has been removed temporarily to fix the freeze issues,” reads an update posted yesterday. “We hope to reinstate the patch ASAP. If you fall victim to one of the bugs previously fixed, don’t worry, you won’t be penalized. We will keep you posted as soon as we have more info. Thank you for your understanding.”
The patch was designed to combat deviant behaviour when playing online, including being sent immediately to your world, being sent to the Firelink Shrine, and being transformed into a dragon.
