The “latest chapter of Disney Infinity” will be unveiled to media on April 30, according to an invitation obtained by Polygon.
Polygon states that Disney will use the event to announce a collaboration with Marvel Entertainment on a Disney Infinity project, but isn’t sure whether the partnership will be linked to a new title or an add-on for the existing product.
Marvel first teased its involvement with Disney Infinity last week, dropping hints at an incoming sequel.
But with this year’s Disney Infinity expected to introduce Marvel characters, it may be left to a future Disney Infinity title to introduce the Star Wars universe. In a message posted by the Disney Store over the weekend, Disney said that “there are no plans for Star Wars to join Disney Infinity at this moment in time”.
