Eidos has announced that two of its major titles – Hitman: Blood Money and Tomb Raider: Legend have been delayed until early 2006. Speaking to UK trade paper MCV, an Eidos spokesperson said the game delays are to “maximise their hit potential“. While this may be true, it often the case that delays occur because of problems with development.
However, given that this may well be the make or break game in the Tomb Raider franchise, the delay may be a wise move, giving the game several extra months in development.
