SEGA has announced that two-time Grammy-nominated heavy metal superstars Lamb of God are creating an exclusive song for the upcoming Iron Man 2 video game.
The new song, Hit the Wall, is described as the perfect complement to the super-powered action found in Iron Man 2: The Videogame.
“The music of Lamb of God definitely evokes the intensity of Iron Man action, and we are very excited to have them working with us for the game,” said Sean Ratcliffe, Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America. “This new track will add even more atmosphere to the cinematic gaming experience that Iron Man 2 brings to the table.”
“Working on a piece of music specifically for the Iron Man 2 video game was a new challenge for us, said vocalist Randy Blythe. “A few of us are real game and comic fans, so the partnership with SEGA has been really exciting. We can’t wait to play the game and hear our music as Iron Man kicks ass.”
Iron Man 2: The Videogame will be available in April for Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, Wii and DS.
